Sanding
Due to the blasting process, which raises the grain of the wood and looks "fuzzy", sanding removes these "fuzzies" and gets the wood back to its original state while also making the wood ready for stain.
Custom Flashing

Staining
Chinking & Caulking
This process esthetically enhances the home while it seals checks & cracks to prevent cold and air infiltration. This process can also decrease the amount fly infiltration. Along with chinking and caulking some additional steps can be taken to reduce the fly and air infiltration.

Cedar Roof Treatment - Cedar roofs have warranties anywhere from 20 to 50 years, depending on the type of wood used. However, for cedar roofs to reach this potential they must be maintained on a regular basis.
Maintenance - All finishes require maintenance over the life of the finish. As most home owners want to see the beauty of the wood they chose, they usually pick transparent stain colors. Transparent finishes will need a maintenance coat between 2-3 years depending on a variety of factors which determine the amount of UV hitting the home. After restoration the first year could require a maintenance coat then every 3-4 years for the rest of the homes life.
